Wilt Chamberlain was born in 1936 in Philadelphia. By the time, he finished high school in a 7 ft. tall. He played basketball at Kansas University. In the first game, he played his scored 52 points. He began playing professional basketball in 1959 when he signed with the Philadelphia warriors of the National Basketball Association. In the 1961-1962, season will scored 100 points in a single game. In his professional career, he played for the Philadelphia warriors, San Francisco warriors, Philadelphia 76ers' and Los Angeles Lakers. In 1973, he led the Los Angeles Lakers to a world title. The 1950's and into the 1970's the 7'1'' Wilt Chamberlain was one of the most dominant of the players in basketball.
