Bob Feller was born in Van Meter, Iowa in 1918. At the age of 16, Bob Feller pitched in an Iowa all-star baseball game. The Cleveland Indians were so impressed by him striking out so many batters that assign him later that year. His fastball was clocked at 95 miles an hour. Bob Feller had a 20 your professional baseball career from 1936 to 1956. He was eventually elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
