On Thanksgiving Day I woke up to the smells of Thanksgiving. I smelled the aroma of turkey baking in the oven it smelled so good. Suddenly, the doorbell rang it was my grandparents. As I hugged my grandpa the warm aroma of scalloped potatoes came from the dish he was holding. Turning to my grandma a very sweet, sweet aroma filled my mouth, and made it water. Grandma's was holding a warm pecan pie. Before everybody got through saying hi my aunt and uncle were at the door. As my aunt walked through the door the smells of a pumpkin pie came across my nose. As it got closer to dinnertime I started to smell the fresh aroma of homemade rolls. The smells of Thanksgiving help make it a special day.
